Summary:
This position floats (travels) regularly to various locations such as Altamont, Dietrich, Mattoon, Newton and Effingham.
Full time 40 hours/week Day shift Float Incentive Mileage Reimbursement The Registrar-Float is designated to float to clinics/departments based on the Registrar's competency level.
Completes appropriate competency and cross-training to float to designated units.
Performs a wide variety of activities which includes registering patients for outpatient services.
Provides a positive first impression of the local entity.
Collects insurance co-pay and deductibles at Point of Service.
Quickly and efficiently expedites the admitting procedure.
Qualifications:
Education High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
Experience Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations N/A.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
