Designing, developing, and setting-up new equipment on the manufacturing floor;
Studying product design feasibility and providing feedback to project launch team;
Assisting in establishing process designs for new manufacturing processes;
Reviewing and approving concept drawings for new equipment;
Developing specifications for new equipment required for new product manufacturing;
Establishing detailed timing to design, build, run-off, and deliver new equipment;
Tracking and communicating equipment development and progress;
Setting up and fine-tuning new equipment on the manufacturing floor;
Providing technical support for continuous improvement of production equipment and processes;
Evaluating and recommending vendors for selection and approval.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree required; Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related disciplines.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
2
years of experience in a manufacturing environment;
Automotive manufacturing experience preferred;
Knowledge/experience with CAD preferred;
Mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical aptitude;
Analytical and problem solving skills;
Organizational and planning skills;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
