Identifying and leading global sourcing activities for strategic commodities; Developing and implementing policies for vendor selection including quality, cost and delivery; Negotiating with vendors; Managing the purchasing staff; Representing the Purchasing Department in corporate meetings.
Education:
4-year degree required; Accounting, Business, or Engineering preferred.
Required Skills:
12-15 years of manufacturing experience; 3-5 years of purchasing or supply chain experience; 5
years of experience in a management position; Lean Manufacturing, TS-16949, 8D/5 Phase; Global Sourcing including far-east regions; Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; Domestic and International travel for up to two weeks per visit.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
